Jennie Ritz

About Jennie Ritz

Jennie was born in southern California, where she wrote her first love stories. She moved around the western United States frequently in her life but currently considers Colorado home, and thanks to the irresistible Rocky Mountain high, she probably always will. As a neurodivergent mental illness warrior who also battles multiple chronic illnesses, Jennie isn’t a stranger to overcoming obstacles, which is why she writes about complex characters who rise from adversity and fall in love on the way.

When Jennie isn’t daydreaming of happily-ever-afters in magical places, and her disabilities allow, she’s looking for her next favorite coffee shop or attending live concerts. But usually, she’s hanging out with her amazing husband, teenagers, or beloved canine writing assistant, Piglet. Smoke and Ivy, Jennie’s debut, is a standalone paranormal romance set in Tennessee’s Smoky Mountains, a place that will always hold her heart.
